Details: Physical Therapy Assistant - Program Director Ex c elon Associates has an immediate opening for a Physical Therapy Assistant - Program Director. The primary duties of the Program Director include providing leadership, oversight and management of issues related to the academic program area. These issues include program development, application of program outcomes, retention of students within the program, and the implementation of the approved assessment plan. The Program Director will assist the Director of Education by assisting with faculty accountability in such areas as performance evaluations, syllabi review, faculty orientation, in-service training, program review and related new program feasibility studies, evaluation of faculty, and ongoing assessment efforts. Is it also the responsibility of the Program Director to help ensure that good teaching practices and institutional processes are consistently followed.

Professional Dues Annual APTA dues will be paid Position Summary: Provide physical therapy services as assigned and directed under the supervision of a physical therapist, concurrent with the company’s physical therapy treatment philosophy. Responsibilities / Clinical Duties Promotes professional milieu and demeanor while providing physical therapy services. Maintains a safe, clean and accommodated working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; adhering to infection-control policies and protocols. Develops knowledge of evidence-based practice and demonstrates clinical knowledge of physical therapy services. Perform assigned responsibilities from supervising physical therapist that are consistent with safe, legal and ethical physical therapy practice. Other Responsibilities Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Coordinates with Supervising Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy services as specified in the plan of care; respond to acute changes in physiological state; teach other health care providers, patients, and families to perform selected treatment procedures and functional activities. Meet with the Physical Therapy team members and/or other staff on a regular basis, including off-site discussing quality of patient care, procedures, records, review of policies, attending training sessions, educational seminars and other issues as required. Promote, support and engage in projects, communications and activities which are designed to maintain, develop and/or improve overall teamwork within the center. Assist with developing and promoting clear communication between the Physical Therapy department and other center staff members. Document treatments and provide documentation per policy and procedure. Demonstrate the ability to exercise proper judgment. Partner with the Physical Therapy team to ensure center operations are consistent with medical policy and professional standards of Institution Continuing Education Program

LICENSED PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT (PTA) Responsibilities: Provides skilled Physical Therapy services in accordance with orders under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist. Implements and modifies the patient's physical therapy plan of treatment with PT supervision Monitors patient responses to treatments and modifies it during treatment sessions as necessary Evaluates and records effects of treatments, responses and progress Assists with discharge planning and documentation to provide discharge instructions and maintain post-discharge continuity of care.
