Details: Physical Therapist Assistant Okemos, Michigan Full-time Agility Health is currently hiring for a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to work at our skilled long-term care and outpatient facility located in Okemos, MI. The facility has recently been renovated and now includes a state of the art rehab center with a large group of therapists that provide a fun team atmosphere. With over 200 beds, this facility has a full-scale therapy program, wide variety of patient care and a fast paced work environment. The schedule would be Monday – Friday with rotating one Saturday or Sunday every 6 – 8 weeks. The caseload would vary with both inpatient and outpatient. The ideal candidate will have experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting, but this is not a requirement. Our Inpatient Therapy Services department works as a team to effectively manage and coordinate the delivery of clinical services specifically in the areas of physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, recreation therapy, daily activities, social services and discharge planning. Our team also organizes and directs documentation for Skilled Nursing MDS data. The Southfield hospital building is comprised of two inpatient floors. The general acute care Medical/Surgical unit is located on the fourth floor of Oakland Regional Hospital. This is a 30 bed unit, with 6 rooms that are single bed and 12 rooms that are double bed. Additionally located on the 3 rd floor of our hospital building is our Skilled Nursing Facility, called Oakland Nursing Center. The SNF unit is a 26 sub-acute/long-term care nursing home transition bed floor, with 6 rooms that are single bed and 10 rooms that are double bed. We can accommodate up to 56 patients between the two units. Our primary objective is to ensure high quality health care and cost effective outcomes.
