Physical Therapy Assistant - Hospital Location
An established hospital in the local area is looking to hire a Physical Therapy Assistant for their inpatient or sub-acute department. This is an opportunity to either focus on one unit or rotate between neurological, cardiac, orthopedics, burns/wounds, and critical care units working with a wide variety of patients. This position offers a very dynamic environment working with a multidisciplinary team. Experience is preferred, but we are considering new graduates since there is a well developed mentorship program in place. A new graduate or a Physical Therapy Assistant looking to change settings would be paired with a Clinical Mentor/Educator and an experienced Physical Therapy Assistant would have the opportunity to be a Clinical Instructor for students.
The position is with a very reputable hospital system that truly offers a great working environment. This is a teaching hospital and they offer at least one on-site continuing education program per week, as well as, opportunities to attend various different conferences and off-site courses.
