The Sentara Rehab Network is seeking Physical Therapists to work in our hospitals, outpatient centers, home care and skilled rehab divisions. Positions are available in Chesapeake, Hampton, Mathews, Newport News, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Richmond, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, Williamsburg, Covington and Charlottesville. Physical Therapists assume responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients and accurately provides Physical Therapy (PT) evaluations; develops and implements PT treatment plans; provides education and information to patients and caregivers; participates in required discharge planning and completes all required documentation according to policy. The PT supervises and assumes responsibility for care provided by Licensed Physical Therapy Assistants, Athletic trainers, Exercise leaders, and rehab aides. May be assigned other duties such as clinical instructor for student affiliations, performance improvement, and program development.

Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor, Masters, or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association accredited program.
Experience: Some experience preferred.
Licensure: Current licensure in the state of Virginia or licensure eligible. New grads are encouraged to apply.
Other: Current CPR certification. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to operate and apply therapeutic equipment; ability to lift/push/pull light to heavy equipment, supplies, and patients; creativity and problem solving skills.
