Job Description
Doctors Hospital of Augusta, Georgia is looking for a Physical Therapist for our Sports Medicine Outpatient Rehab center.
The Physical Therapist functions as a member of the healthcare team. The purpose is to provide medically prescribed physical therapy programs in the hospital in accordance with national standards and administrative policies of the hospital. The goal is to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury, surgery, or loss of a body part in order to allow the patient to perform to his/her maximum ability.
Physical Therapy: Population Served
Core competencies will be assessed primarily on the following patient population(s) served: Orthopedic, neuro, spine care, pulmonary including but not limited to joint replacement, fractures, CVA, soft tissue injury, etc.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor of Science in physical therapy from an accredited school.
Licensure/Certifications: Current Georgia Physical Therapy License. BLS required upon hire or within 30 days.
Experience: New graduates from accredited schools may apply.
