Physical Therapist - Adult Day Program
A very reputable and local hospital system has a unique opportunity for a Physical Therapist. The position is in a clinic setting that houses an adult day care program, which works with adults over 55 years old helping them age in place. The program brings in older adults from the community who live independently for a full day of activities, which will include therapy, physician needs, nutritionists, social workers, recreational programs, and many more. The program is set-up to be more of a preventative measure than post-surgical and helps educate senior citizens on the best way to care for themselves. The staff really takes on a team approach with the patients.
As a Physical Therapist, the best aspect of the program is that you will not have to deal with insurances and the restrictions that they can impose. Physical Therapist - Outpatient Location:
* Valid Pennsylvania Physical Therapy License or Ability to Apply for a Pennsylvania Physical Therapy License
* Solid Work History
* Comfortable with the Older Population
* Creative with Program Development
