Job Description
We are seeking dynamic and transformational leader to become our Director of the Women's Center. The ideal candidate must have a strong clinical background in obstetrical services as well as demonstrated experience in developing and implementing programs that strengthen clinical quality, family-centered care and overall program success. The individual must possess dynamic communication skills to foster program growth and community relationships. The successful candidate will serve as the mentor for the service line's team members and will foster an environment that promotes teamwork, quality, safety, family-centered care and a collegial relationship with the members of the medical staff.
Job Requirements
The role requires that the candidate has 3-5 years of recent and progressive management experience in obstetrical services, as well as a working knowledge of regulatory and quality (such as TJC, IHI, Leap Frog, etc.) standards. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of Nursing is required (a Master's Degree in a related discipline such as Nursing, Health Administration, Business, etc. is preferred) as is certification in neonatal resuscitation and basic life cardiac life support.
