Job description:

• Evaluates, administers and directs administration of therapeutic procedures utilized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as prescribed by a referring practitioner.

• Establishes goals of physical therapy and re-assesses patient’s progress at regular, timely intervals, supporting findings with appropriate documentation.
• Provides excellent care to patients by observing patient during procedures and documents patient's status and goals
• Always demonstrates working knowledge and proficiency with process and rehabilitation equipment
• All assessment and treatment media, approaches and techniques will be appropriate and specific to population served including general rehabilitation services to adult and geriatric patients.
• Requires task delegation and supervision of physical therapist assistants and technicians.
• Requires effective communication skills for working with patients, families, caregivers, and departmental and interdepartmental relationships.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Physical Therapy license in the State of Alabama
• 1+ years experience as a Physical Therapist preferred
• New Graduates will be accepted
