Physical Therapist - Hospital Location
A local hospital is looking for a Physical Therapist to join their rehab team. The position would start within the inpatient acute unit and have the flexibility to rotate to their outpatient team. The rehab team is a great group of experienced and newer Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Language Pathologists who collaborate their patient care. Since the facility is a smaller, community hospital you will have the opportunity to really know your co-workers and participate on various hospital committees.
The hospital system offers very competitive salaries, a great benefits package, and promotional opportunities. They have a clinical advancement program in place that each Therapist is eligible to participate in. The management team really promotes continuing education sending their therapists to various courses and financially supporting specialty certifications. There are also on-site inservices available on a regular basis. The Director of Rehab is very flexible and offers the opportunity to work various different schedules.
This position offers a very dynamic environment working with a multidisciplinary team. Experience is preferred, but we are considering new graduates since there is a well developed mentorship program in place. A new graduate or a Physical Therapist looking to change settings would be paired with a Clinical Mentor/Educator and an experienced Physical Therapist would have the opportunity to be a Clinical Instructor for students.
