HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Southern Arizona is a 60 bed acute care rehab. Hospital located at the foothills of the beautiful Catalina Mountains in the rapidly growing NW part of Tucson. We specialize in the treatment of stroke, head injury, spinal cord injury, as well as orthopedic conditions & cardio pulmonary diseases.

Job Requirements
Job Description
The Physical Therapist provides physical therapy treatment and patient care according to hospital, state, professional and federal regulations and guidelines. In addition, the position:
Requires effective communication skills for working with patients, families, caregivers, and departmental and interdepartmental relationships.
Requires competency in physical therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning and treatment.
Requires task delegation and supervision of physical therapist assistants and technicians.
Maintains open and on-going communication with hospital departments to ensure patient, staff, and hospital needs are met.
The Physical Therapist creates an environment and culture that enables the hospital to fulfill its mission by providing patient safety and patient-centered treatment.
License or Certification:
Must have current state license or certification; in states where licensing is not required, defer to state practice act.
CPR certification preferred unless otherwise required by hospital policy.
Education, Training and Experience
Successfully completed a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited therapy program
