There is one hospital well regarded in the community and consistently recognized for patient satisfaction that can offer just this.  They are looking for a permanent Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA to join their well-established and large rehab team.  The PTA will be responsible for:
 

• working with Outpatient patient populations, mostly 13+ years, experiencing orthopedic, musculoskeletal, post-op, and sports related conditions.  Visits are scheduled every 30 minutes, and patients are never double booked.   Tons of rehab space, wide open gym, individual treatment areas/rooms, a wide array of equipment, land and aquatic therapy treatments to choose from.

• working with a large team consisting of seasoned and entry level clinicians

• for Physical Therapist Assistants / PTAs who are new to the field, there will be a strong mentorship program, allowing the therapist plenty of time to gradually increase to a full caseload until clinical competencies and critical thinking skills are developed.

• The PTA will be responsible for partnering with multiple disciplines, including physiatrists, physical and occupational therapists, speech langage pathologis, neuropsychologists, nurses, dietitians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and social workers.  

• PTA should participate in continuing education, in-service training, and program development when necessary.   There is a strong emphasis on professional development and advancement. 

• ...but most of all, the Physical Therapist Assistant will be expected to have fun with this dynamic and patient-focused team!
