A Hospital located in South of Boston is looking for Physical Therapist / PT to join their dynamic rehab team. This hospital is affiliated with some of Boston's most nationally recognized teaching hospitals. Therapists will conduct comprehensive assessments of Inpatient rehab and long term acute care populations, and will be responsible for evaluating and implementing therapy treatments to achieve the highest possible level of independence. Patient population includes cardio, pulmonary, neuro, stroke, spinal cord injury, multiple trauma, ortho, and medically complex adults and geriatrics. There is also the opportunity for this position to encompass supervisory and leadership responsibilities, if qualified and desired.
This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking exposure to multiple diagnoses and challenging cases requiring creative approaches to patient care. Physical Therapists / PT will rotate through the units and specialites to broaden skill set. Productivity is reasonable, thereby allowing therapists quality time with their patients, and the ability to demonstrate creativity and thoughtful approaches to their care plans.
Rehab staff consists of seasoned therapists with ample opportunities for mentorship and training. This hospital offers tremendous room for professional growth and development, and encourages therapists to participate in interdisciplinary research. The Physical Therapist / PT will also be responsible for participating in multi-disciplinary approach to treatment and follow-up care. Additionally, the Therapists will provide student training according to departmental guidelines and will participate in continuous education.
Full-time, part-time and mother's hours available! No weekend rotations!!!
