Job Description
A large, well-respected and reputable healthcare network is looking to welcome a Physical Therapist / PT to their rehab team. The PT will be responsible for evaluating and implementing treatment programs in an Inpatient Sub-Acute unit. The caseload may also consist of some long term care patients, but will primarily be short term rehab adults and/or geriatrics. This is not your typical SNF - recently renovated, truly rehab oriented atmosphere with great equipment and modalities, whirlpool, beautiful layout very conducive to rehab.
This facility is looking for a therapist who exhibits leadership capability and people skills that allow him/her to build rapport quickly, confidently, and effectively. This PT will assume a leadership role, with involvement in supervisory responsibilities, student supervision, and hiring. Compensation will be offered for additional levels of responsibility. The Physical Therapist / PT will also be responsible for supervising a couple assistants.
The busy unit is well-staffed with seasoned therapists. The Physical Therapist / PT partner with physicians, nurses, and other disciplines to develop appropriate treatment agendas; this is truly an interdisciplinary approach to patient care! Upper level management and administration "get" rehab services, and therapists feel truly supported by the larger (privately owned) organization. Productivity is reasonable with time allotted for proper documentation, patient care plans, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Schedules are flexible, and either part-time (with benefits) or full-time hours are available. Additionally, there is no weekend requirement.
