Job Description

Would you like to work for an organization where both the employees and the patients are truly valued?  Are you interested in working with adult/geriatric patient populations in a setting where you can enjoy quality time with them without worrying about unrealistic productivity standards?  Wouldn't it be great to get back to what rehab is all about???

A large, well-respected and reputable healthcare network is looking to welcome a Physical Therapist / PT to their rehab team.  The PT will be responsible for evaluating and implementing treatment programs for adult and geriatric patient populations in a Skilled Nursing and Inpatient Sub-acute setting.   This is not your typical SNF - recently renovated, truly rehab oriented atmosphere with great equipment and modalities, and practical layout very conducive to rehab.   This organization is deficiency free, rated 5 stars, and has an unmatched reputation for excellent patient care.   This is a remarkably well-kept, clean, and beautiful facility!

The Physical Therapist / PT partners with physicians, nurses, and other disciplines to develop appropriate treatment agendas; this is truly an interdisciplinary approach to patient care!   Upper level management and administration "get" rehab services, and therapists feel truly supported by the larger (privately owned) organization.  Productivity is reasonable with time allotted for proper documentation, patient care plans, and multidisciplinary collaboration.  This allows therapists to experience the quality one-on-one time with their patients, and the opportunity to build rapport with their patients.   Additionally, therapists have the autonomy to be creative in their treatment programs, and the caseload consists of a good mix of ortho, cardio, pulmonary, and neuro diagnoses.  The staff consists of 10+ clinicians who are in-house employees, many of which are experienced therapists.  For this reason, the facility will consider new graduates with strong clinical affiliations.  They have the ability to pair the new therapist with a senior clinician who will help develop his/her clinical competencies.  They do not contract out therapy services.  Communication with the nursing staff and physicians is excellent, and all disciplines include seasoned and dedicated professionals.

Schedules are flexible, and either part-time (with benefits) or full-time hours are available.  Additionally, there is no weekend requirement.   Among other things, this large organization offers room for advancement, continuing education (including tuition reimbursement, seminars, classes, etc), great benefits (part-time employees are insurance eligible as well), competitive pay, and generous PTO.

If you are interested in working for an organization that truly values their employees' voices and are committed to providing exceptional patient care, then please consider applying!   This opportunity is almost too good to be true, and will not be open for very long.
