A privately owned Skilled Nursing Facility is excited to be looking to add a permanent full-time or part-time Physical Therapist / PT to their progressive rehab team. The PT will be responsible for evaluating and treating ortho and neuro adult and geriatric patient populations. The facility provides short term and long term rehab services, but therapists spend 90% of their time working with short-term/Med A patients. The remarkable team consists of seasoned and long tenured employees who have been with the organization for 10 yrs or more. Very welcoming rehab department, highly collaborative, and therefore, the Physical Therapists / PT will be actively involved in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care, with consistent partnering with OT, Speech and Nursing to develop appropriate treatment plans. Most notably, therapists have recognized this particular building for having a phenomenal working relationship with Nursing.
Because this is a private facility, all therapists are employed in-house, and organization is realistic with productivity expectations. Therapists are never asked to push a patient beyond his/her capabilities, and each therapist is given the quality time with their patients. Additionally, there is the opportunity to follow patients through their progress all the way to Outpatient in some instances. This is a great opportunity for a PT who appreciates SNF settings where therapists have the time and ability to build rapport with their patients.
This position can be part-time or full-time hours (up to 40/wk). There are no weekend/evenings required. Benefits are available for employees who work 30+ hours per week.

Job Requirements
*Must have valid MA PT licensure, or ability to apply.
*Will accept new graduates with relevant clinical affiliations in sub-acute/short term rehab.
*Must be dynamic, outgoing, team oriented
*Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as be creative, autonomous, and driven.
