A reputable hospital is looking to add a Physical Therapist / PT to work primarily with adult patient populations in an Inpatient Acute Care setting. The PT will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients experiencing pain, joint stiffness, balance disorders, mobility isssues, and decreased endurance. The PT will design appropriate treatment protocol, and follow up with ongoing teaching and reassessment. There are a wide variety of disorders the Physical Therapist will be exposed to in ER, ICU, CCU, med/surg, and OP. This is an excellent learning opportunity to develop a strong skill set across multiple diagnoses. Inpatient therapists also have the opportunity to be cross-trained in Outpatient if desired and work with Ortho adult patients. All documentation in IP and OP is electronic.

These programs are supported by interdisciplinary teams throughout the hospital, and allow therapists to use cutting edge technology and advanced equipment specific to these clinical diagnoses.
This is a truly interdisciplinary setting for the PT to grow professionally with a team that shares compatible philosophies for quality care. This is a very patient-centered culture, with a true sense of camaraderie, cohesiveness, and well-being across all disciplines in this well management organization. The rehab team consists of 8 clinicians who are available for mentorship and training. The facility will accept new graduates who are willing to learn, grow, and are not afraid to ask questions.
They are looking for a full-time and/or part-time Physical Therapist / PT. There is one weekend rotation required per month, paid at the shift differential. Facility just recently underwent market adjustment, and is offering EXCELLENT salary range with full benefits offered for part time employees working 24 or more hours per week. *Valid MA License, or eligibility to apply
* 1 year of experience preferred, or new grads with strong clinical affiliations will be considered.
*MUST possess an outgoing personality and demonstrate a continual love for learning and teaching.
*Must be hard working, dedicated, compassionate, and enthusiastic, and MUST be a true patient advocate!
* Good problem solving and communication skills are necessary.
