Evaluates patients, sets goals, plans treatment programs, and treats patients according to physician’s orders; maintains required records and notes on patient care; performs quality assurance; assists the Clinical Coordinator and Director in ongoing professional development of the department and staff. Must be a graduate of an approved School of Physical Therapy. License as a Physical Therapist in the State of Texas. CPR Certification.   • Job Requirements

    Education and Work Experience: Graduate of an approved School of Physical Therapy. Prefer membership in American Physical Therapy Association. License as a Physical Therapist in the State of Texas. CPR Certification.

    Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of the organization. Ability to perform evaluations, treat patients, perform reassessments, educate patients, discharge patients, network with physicians. Ability to organize, support, and motivate staff, manage conflicts and solve problems. Market the hospital. Demonstrate excellent communication skills both orally and written. Ability to supervise support personnel. Must be able to resolve problems concerning patients, associates, daily work complaints by communicating with the Clinical Coordinator.
