Job Description
Occpational Therapy - Hospital
Would you like to work in a facility with medically complex patients?
Would you like to see all your patients on a one-on-one basis?
Would you like to work somewhere that stresses creativity and teamwork?
A well respected facility in the local area is looking for a full-time Occupational Therapist to join their team. This is an opportunity to work in a clean, neat environment where the employees truly get along and enjoy their positions. The facility sees primarily long-term acute care patients who average about a 25 day length of stay. Some of the patients are more medically complex than your typical acute care patient and need extra healing time prior to returning home. The organization is very patient quality care driven and therefore allows the therapists ample time with each patient. All patients are seen one-on-one and the care is very goal driven not minutes driven. The Occupational Therapist will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team that includes PT, Physicians, Nursing, and Respiratory. The right candidate will need to be a creative team player who is able to think outside of the box. The company offers plenty of growth and learning opportunities and because the facility is smaller, the right Physical Therapist will be involved in all aspects of the facility.
This is a Monday through Friday position. The organization offers competitive salaries and very elaborate benefits. The department manager is very flexible and great to work with.
If you are looking to really make a difference in a patient's life and truly contribute and be part of successful patient outcomes, please consider applying.
