Area Manager will:
Manage and direct the work of Rehab Directors and Therapy Teams.
Ensure staffing levels are planned and scheduled.
Assist/educate Rehab Director to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and organization of billing and payroll logs according to TriStar Rehab, Inc. policies.
Monitor therapist productivity and provide guidance as needed to maximize performance.
Assist in the maintenance and implementation of special programs.
Counsel staff when necessary with direct input from Regional Director.
Ensure all departments have sufficient supplies/equipment by making request.
Develop Professional Working relationships with TriStar Rehab staff, facility team members, residents and resident family members.
Review and prepare reports.
Over see the interview process of future team members.
Other job duties as assigned by Regional Director.

The ideal candidate will:

· Have a desire to work with geriatric patients in a skilled care environment. (SNF experience a plus)
· Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with lots of variety
Qualified candidates must possess:
· The appropriate degree for their field of expertise (ie: Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral) in a related rehab therapy profession
· Current licensure (or eligibility) for the state of Louisiana
· 2+ years experience in the healthcare field, working knowledge of Medicare, insurances, and resident rights.
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
