You will achieve this by increasing sales through assisting the sales teams and building your own accounts by working existing customers as well as identifying new customers to grow their territory. The Rep will learn or hone selling skills and processes from the coaching/mentoring support of Sales Representatives and Managers. Previous implant sales experience selling to Orthopedic, Sports Medicine etc a plus, not required.

The office based surgical specialty sales role is focused on exceeding sales goals in territory by promoting products and services to physicians and other medical personnel within assigned geography. This role will require professionally representing Mallinckrodt’s branded products in the field and ensuring high levels of visibility and customer satisfaction in territory. Maintaining effective communication and relationships with key external and internal customers is key in this role. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Develop and manage a designated territory with the goal of maximizing sales of Mallinckrodt products, within the approved indications to achieve quarterly and annual sales goals. Develop business relationships with targeted physicians and other health care professionals in surgical, orthopedic, and other pain management specialties. Understand and address both business and clinical needs of healthcare professionals and their patients by engaging in a meaningful dialogue to determine how defined products and services could address such needs. SUMMARY Duratech Medical, a Breg Company, has a full time opening for a Patient Liaison at our Franklin (Nashville), TN location. In this role, you will assist patients and their family with both the clinical and serve as a backup for the clinical staff in the fitting of off-the-shelve orthopedic products and services. Regular and punctual attendance. Other duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL CLINICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Fitting cervical orthosis except those used to treat unstable cervical conditions. Fitting prefabricated orthosis for the upper and lower extremities except those used in the initial and/or acute treatment of long bone fractures and dislocation, therapeutic (diabetic) shoes/inserts and functional electrical stimulation (myorthosis) Fitting prefabricated spinal orthoses, except those used in the treatment of scoliosis and unstable spinal conditions. Fitting pressure gradient garments Responsible for fitting and instructing patient’s with prefabricated orthotic devices as prescribed by a physician Understanding of basic anatomy and orthopedic injuries and conditions as they relate to the application of OTS bracing. Responsible for obtaining patient’s demographics information, and authorizations as necessary prior to or immediately after fitting patient’s orthotic device(s), and follow through with entering this information into computer system Responsible for collecting co-pays, as indicated, and documentation of the co-payments or payment agreement into the patient’s records. Responsible for ordering and maintaining inventory and inventory records. Responsible to fit/instruct patients in other ancillary DME products. Responsible for taking accountability to demonstrate the organization’s Cultural Beliefs and achieving desired results.
