OPPORTUNITY: Use your professional clinical expertise to collaborate with orthotic practitioners in the evaluation and analysis of a patient’s need for orthotic services. You will work with physician practices in Frederick and Montgomery County. In individual consultations with patients, you will listen to challenges , collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to identify solutions , and apply your expertise to help move lives forward. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Collaborate with orthotic practitioners in the evaluation and analysis of a patient’s need for orthotic services. Examine and evaluate patient’s needs in relation to disease and functional loss. Perform fitting, and execute minor modifications as necessary. Evaluate orthotic device on patient, adjust to assure fit, function, medical efficacy, and quality of work. Design orthopedic and prosthetic devices based on physicians’ recommendations. Identify and reconcile issues/problems to ensure patient satisfaction with devices provided. Provide detailed clinical notes to patient records. Verify customer insurance information. Meet with physicians, case managers and other referral sources to review orthotic services and capabilities; develop and enhance business relationships to identify and secure ongoing and future sources or referrals. Adhere to all safety regulations; compliance with Medicare and other governmental regulations; compliance with blood borne and Occupational Safety and Health Administration. (OSHA).

WE ARE NOT A RECRUITING FIRM, THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE. GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY: The Outside Sales Representative (OSR) is responsible for maximizing the market share, sales and customer satisfaction within a defined territory. Reports to the Regional Sales Manager. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The OSR is responsible and accountable for planning, obtaining and managing existing sales accounts within a geographically defined territory to achieve and exceed business plans. The OSR is responsible to identify opportunities for growth through increased account penetration of existing and new accounts as well as new product offerings or competitive information. The OSR must provide accurate forecasts/pipeline tracking within the sales process. He/she is responsible and accountable to plan, organize, and orchestrate resources appropriately to maintain revenue and expense budgets on a monthly basis. He/she will manage all elements of inventory utilization and optimize inventory to increase sales according to ERMI inventory policy guidelines. The OSR must be able to lift 75lbs, routinely throughout the day. Significant territory field travel time is expected and required, up to approximately 75%. Conduct 10-12 sales calls per day Conduct a minimum of 8 In-service per month. Educating Surgeons, Physical Therapist and Patients on the most effective use of the devices. Working effectively with multiple clients and their staff to gain required documentation in order to file claims on behalf of their patients. Communicate effectively to deliver corporate goals, respond to market trends and meet unexpected challenges involved with functioning independently in a fast paced sales environment.
