St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children is one of the nation’s premier providers of intensive rehabilitation and specialized care for children with special needs and life-limiting conditions. Full Time Physical Therapist
St. Mary's is currently seeking a full time Physical Therapist to work for our inpatient program at our Bayside location. This person will be responsible for the Physical Therapy evaluation, planning, implementation, treatment and documentation of patient status for children in our in-patient facility. This person will provide skilled physical therapy in accordance with the physician's and treatment team's plan of care as well as treat patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function, maintain maximum performance using appropriate physical therapy treatments, modalities and procedures as stated in the physical therapy plan of care. They will also observe, record and report the patient's reaction to treatment and any change in the patient's condition to the physician and/or nursing and other staff involved. Additional days and hours may be available.
Job Requirements
- Must be licensed in the state of NY
- Minimum of one year of experience in pediatric physical therapy and/or pediatric affiliation
