Physical Therapy Employment

St. Francis Hospital, Wilmington, DE is seeking a Full Time Chief Physical Therapist for our Home Care Department. 

The Home Care Chief Physical Therapist is responsible for the supervision of all therapy and contract therapy positions as well as the staff responsibilities of a physical therapist in providing direct patient care.  Specifically the Chief Physical Therapist is responsible for therapy patient assignment, customer satisfaction, performance improvement, in-house continuing education programs, development and review of therapy related policies and procedures, and new therapist orientation.  Additional responsibilities include coordination of care between therapy and other home care disciplines, and the promotion of therapy services to other health care providers and in the community.  The Chief Physical Therapist is responsible to incorporate Service Excellence standards into job performance and to assure these standards are followed by all therapy staff members.  EOE

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program

• Current licensure in Delaware as a Registered Physical Therapist

• Previous supervisory experience is preferred

• Home Care Physical Therapy experience

• Current driver’s license with a safe driving record

• Interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
